A Long Time Ago,
I Made a Promise…
I made a promise to God that if I got through my second battle with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, I would do something to make the world a better place for cancer survivors.

Foundation History

Cancer for College surpasses $4 million in scholarships to more than 1,500 cancer survivors from around the country.

Cancer for College celebrates its 20th Anniversary with a star studded comedy show in San Diego hosted by Will Ferrell.

Cancer for College grants over $225K in scholarships in one year.

Craig Pollard founds Cancer for College and grants first scholarship of $500.

Cancer for College has set a goal of reaching $10M in our scholarship endowment and we are well on our way. Once we hit our goal of $10M, this would allow us to give a set amount of scholarships each year in perpetuity for as long as support was needed. We are currently just over $9.4 Million. Our board has determined that this will allow us to award $500K in scholarships each year. We will then set a new goal in order to offer more scholarships, educational opportunities and learning experiences to help our scholars thrive through college and beyond.
