Educational Programs
At Cancer for College, we are committed to empowering our scholars not only through their academic journeys but also beyond. Our educational programs are meant to connect, educate, and enrich the lives of our scholars through personalized curricula designed for their holistic development.
Become a part of CFC, where every connection, experience, and piece of wisdom shared contributes to the thriving success of cancer survivors.
Monthly Mentorship Conversations
As part of The CFC Inspire Project, our mentorship program fosters meaningful connections through monthly meet-ups between scholars, board members, and donors. These sessions provide a unique opportunity for scholars to share their needs, receive professional mentorship, and gain valuable insights that positively impact their futures. It’s not just about mentorship; it’s about building a community where wisdom is shared, and future success is cultivated.
In-Person Educational Experiences
Our educational programming extends beyond the virtual realm to include in-person field trips and workshops. These events convene a select group of participants for immersive experiences and meaningful discussions with industry professionals who share their interests. These gatherings are more than just educational; they broaden perspectives and foster personal connections among fellow cancer survivors and supporters of our organization. Together, these experiences build a strong, supportive network that enriches our community.
Informational Webinars
We periodically host expert-led informational webinars covering essential topics, from financial guidance, like completing the FAFSA and building credit, to strategies for academic and professional success, such as effective time management, memory enhancement, and stress reduction. These valuable sessions are often available to the broader cancer community in addition to our Cancer for College Scholars, providing critical insights and tools to support their journeys.
