In addition to in person events, you can consider joining The Future Makers, a group of individuals hosting online fundraisers to support cancer survivors. The Future Makers Toolkit will help you plan, launch, and share your fundraiser.

A prime example of such a partnership is our ongoing relationship with Jersey Mike’s. From 2019 to 2025, Cancer for College was fortunate to receive proceeds from their “Month of Giving” campaign across multiple regions in Southern California. Thanks to the initial outreach from local franchise owners—and now board members—Steve and Jolene Leonard, Jersey Mike’s has contributed over $5 million to support cancer survivors. In 2024, we were thrilled to expand this fruitful partnership to include regions in Alabama and Massachusetts.
