It takes a village to run this event and if you’d like to support the cause by sharing your time as a volunteer, we’d love to have you. There are three shifts spread through the day, but the area of greatest need is during the actual golf tournament itself from 12 p.m. – 6 p.m. Please use the link below and let us know if you’d like to join us in making a difference in the life of a cancer survivor.

Congrats to scholar Udit Nijhawan was nominated for an NAACP Award for his documentary Sakhee. The film was screened at DOC NYC and Tasveer Film Festival in 2025. The original Tin Cup One Club Challenge returns Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Mission Bay Golf Course. One club. Nine holes. Zero rules (well… maybe a few), where every chaotic swing and belly laugh helps send cancer survivors to college and build brighter futures.
Choosing just one club is an act of bravery… or maybe madness. Either way, it sparks wildly creative swings, plenty of laughs, and some hilariously memorable misfires. Add in food, drinks, and great company, and you’ve got a day that’s as fun as it is meaningful.
This year’s theme? Let’s just say it’s larger-than-life, full of personality, and one of a kind. We promise it’ll be a sight to behold.
Round up your crew, grab your one club, and get ready for a day of hilariously unforgettable golf. 🎉⛳
Cancer for College has partnered with Dollar For to help survivors tackle the financial burdens that often follow a cancer diagnosis. Since launching this program in late 2023, we’ve already eliminated over $400,000 in medical debt for cancer survivors—freeing them to focus on their education, goals, and future.
The process is simple, secure, and designed to make a real impact. Survivors in need can submit their information through our portal to check for immediate eligibility.
If you’re found ineligible after applying, please contact shelby@cancerforcollege.org to explore other ways we may be able to help.
This program’s success depends on awareness. Every time you share it with your network, you help a survivor get relief faster. Talk about it, post it, forward it—help us make sure every eligible survivor knows this lifeline exists
